Andrussow process expertise
The Andrussow process was developed by Leonid Andrussow in 1930 at former I.G. Farben in Mannheim Germany.
In 1950, the Andrussow process was established at the Worms site of the Röhm GmbH (today a fully affiliate of Evonik Industries).
Since 1950, the world-scale production process for hydrogen cyanide has been continuously improving. This means that even if the main chemical process is similar to when it was developed in 1930, the offered license is more than just a technology package being handed over to the licensee. Evonik Industries' licenses customers will benefit from more than 60 years of experience of safe and efficient production, latest interlock technology, and patent proved developments that make Evonik Industries' license unique.
